Our client is seeking a Project Scheduler to join their team
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead comprehensive project scheduling for pharmaceutical engineering projects, managing full-cycle schedules from design through validation stages.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring timely project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in a dynamic engineering environment.
What you'll be doing?
- Schedule development: Create and maintain comprehensive master schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, coordinating inputs from various teams to ensure integrated project planning.
- Activity optimization: Sequence key activities based on pharmaceutical schedule logic, ensuring optimal workflow and resource utilization throughout project lifecycles.
- Progress monitoring: Conduct weekly updates, monitor critical paths, identify potential delays, and support mitigation planning to maintain project timelines.
- Milestone management: Oversee critical milestone schedules linked to equipment installation and validation phases, ensuring seamless coordination between project stages.
- Comprehensive reporting: Prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports, providing clear visibility into project status and upcoming activities.
- Stakeholder communication: Provide expert scheduling input during project and client meetings, ensuring alignment on project timelines and expectations.
- Claims support: Assist in preparing Time Impact Analysis and claims documentation, offering technical scheduling expertise for project changes.
- Risk management: Participate in project risk reviews, integrating schedule-related risks into the risk register and developing mitigation strategies.
- Cross-functional coordination: Collaborate with various teams to optimize sequencing and ensure efficient project execution.
- Validation interface: Coordinate closely with validation teams to meet readiness milestones and ensure smooth transitions between project phases.
Who are they looking for?
- Educational background: A Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management, providing a solid technical foundation for complex pharmaceutical projects.
- Scheduling expertise: At least 5 years in project scheduling with 3+ years in pharmaceutical projects preferred, bringing industry-specific knowledge to the role.
- Technical proficiency: Advanced skills in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel analytics for comprehensive schedule management and reporting.
- Industry knowledge: Familiarity with GMP workflows and cleanroom construction sequencing to ensure compliance with pharmaceutical manufacturing standards.
- Regulatory awareness: Understanding of Singapore construction regulations and site safety protocols to maintain compliance.
- Communication skills: Strong ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project stakeholders, both on-site and off.
- Cross-functional experience: Demonstrated ability to work with various teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Professional certification: PMP certification is highly valued to demonstrate advanced project management competencies.
