What the role is

You will be working with a team of psychologists to psychological principles and tools, and conduct operational research to meet various assessment objectives and organisational needs.

What you will be working on

You will scientific principles and methodology to design psychological assessment frameworks, research studies and screening tools.

You will be in charge of literature reviews, co-ordinating and organizing processes related to data collection, analyses, ensuring data integrity as well as drafting of psychological assessment reports and briefing materials.

You will be required to derive meaningful trends from psychological assessment data that would be of value to your stakeholders.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of psychometric screening operations and partake in engagements with stakeholders.

What we are looking for

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and possess a high level of proficiency in statistics, data analysis, scientific methodology and research design.

You should have strong written and verbal communication skills.

You should also be detail-oriented and possess good organisation skills.

Additionally, you should have an interest in quantitative methods and extrapolating theories to solve real world problems.

About Military Security Department

The Military Security Department (MSD)'s core business is in Counter Intelligence and internal security for MINDEF/SAF.

MSD was formed in 1975 to counter the threats of espionage, subversion and sabotage against MINDEF/SAF.

It began with two main entities, namely the Counter Intelligence Branch (CIB) and Field Security Branch (FSB).

Over the years, the department has continued to evolve and our roles expanded in tandem with the changing security environment.

Today, our roles also include Counter Terrorism and Cyber Security.
