Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for managing ROV procurement projects and activities and possess marine, subsea or oil and gas experiences to:
Source to Contract
- Work with Project Manager/Engineers to understand technical requirement and develop procurement strategies;
- Focal point on tactical business partnering with the production/business stakeholders
- Responsible for cost control, material planning, central procurement implementation and Supplier management in ROV production
- Comply to Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental, and Procurement standards;
- Apply sourcing policy, interface between potential suppliers and businesses with respect to technical services/ statement of works on specifications, budgets, price inquiries, quotations, purchase orders and sub-contracting agreement
- Being responsible for planning and purchasing materials from overseas and local suppliers, sourcing at least 3 and negotiating prices, terms, conditions;
- Preparing comparison sheet on price, terms, lead-time for approval before issuing Purchase Order or executing Agreement;
- Negotiate and update approved suppliers' yearly pricing in ERP system;
- Contacting suppliers to follow up, expedite orders to ensure that materials are delivered to site or warehouse on-time, meet requirement.
- Obtaining and verifying the invoice, packing list and other required documents from overseas suppliers;
- To resolves unmatched invoices, differences pertaining to purchasing documents such as PO / DO / Inv.
/ etc.
- Accountable for effectively managing supplier performance and audit, and structural handling of complains and non-conformance;
- Maintain Approved supplier list and ensure the process of new supplier onboarding process are carried out accordingly
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Procurement related systems and procedures;
- Ensure that the procurement chains are in compliance with Fugro policy, principles and standards and procedures together with safeguarding suppliers, contractors and other service providers per corporate governance.
- Responsible for the monthly EBIT savings to ensure the best value
Material Planning
- Perform costing or cost calculation for the production of FCV system
- Perform Material Planning and follow up the schedules of the goods delivery and keeping tracking the shipment until the goods arrive to the site/warehouse;
- Work on the BOM structure, issue the Works Order to the shopfloor, and monitor and report the progress to ensure meeting production schedule.
- Prepare packing list and commercial invoices, coordinating end user statement for export control.
Requirement:
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree
• Good in English Speaking, Writing and Listening
• At least 3 – 5 years of working experience in the field of the Planning and Purchasing industry
• Good in problem solving, communications, planning, and documentation
• Proficiency is using MS.
Word, Excel, Power Point, IFS or Navision….
Etc
• Be detailed, hard-working, flexible, honest with multitasks
• Good communication, attitude, and interpersonal skill
• Fast learner, efficient work, be able to work under pressure and high responsibility.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Navision or IFS ERP system, S2C (Source to Contract) and Procure to Pay (P2P) experience
