About the role
Young Generation Pte Ltd, a leading corporate gift manufacturing and logistics company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Purchasing Admin to join our dynamic team.
This full-time role is based in our Tai Seng North-East Region office, where you will play a crucial part in supporting our purchasing and procurement operations.
What you'll be doing
- Assist the Purchasing Executive in all aspects of the purchasing process, including order placement, vendor management, and inventory control
- Process purchase orders, prepare necessary documentation, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities, including budgets, spend, and inventory levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline purchasing procedures
- Provide administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and responding to purchasing-related inquiries
- Contribute to the implementation of purchasing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance
What we're looking for
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing administrative role
- Bilingual in English and Chinese
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in mandarin , speaking and reading, with good foundation in Han Yu Pin Yin
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
