Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Purchasing Assistant (6 months Contract):
Job Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Identify and source new suppliers, as well as potential new products to support operational needs.
- Qualify and evaluate vendors while exploring alternative sourcing options.
- Ensure prompt procurement to meet production and operational requirements.
- Monitor, assess, and maintain supplier performance on a regular basis.
- Support cost-saving measures and contribute to cost-control strategies.
- Oversee inventory of chemicals and general supplies to ensure availability and accuracy.
- Prepare and submit monthly procurement and inventory reports.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory control.
- Diploma or higher qualification in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Experience in purchasing, inventory, materials, or warehouse management will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 3,000
- Working Location: Joo Koon
- Working Hours: 5 Days Work, Monday to Friday, 7.50am to 4.55pm
- 6 Months Contract
