Products and Solutions team - HP Industrial Print, Asia Pacific & Japan

HP Indigo Products and Solutions team is part of the HP Industrial business organization.

This is a customer centric and solution-oriented role with a lot of high touch customers, channels and additional interfaces interactions with business acumen as well as hands-on crafting of GTM Product related deliverables.

You have the best product management, business and technical skills and end to end view of production and business consultancy skills around.

You feel at ease with technical deep dives as well as leading business discussions with clients.

You're passionate about engaging your customers for a solution, winning projects and providing top level of support for our HP Industrial sales team activities.

What a PWP & Publishing Category Manager does at HP:

  • HP PWP Platforms product portfolio and project management with end-to-end solution implementation for prospects and customers.

  • Supports and progresses the development of Step of sale cycle (Hardware opportunity)
  • Product life cycle and NPI (New Products) management in collaboration with Global Business Unit (GBU).

  • Defines product pricing and sales strategy for the commercial PWP market, creates sales programs and pricing tools to achieve business objectives.

  • Drives sales cycles and provides technical and commercial expertise and support to the regional teams.

  • Covers a wide range of application from GCP, Commercial print, and publishing
  • Masters the competitive landscape and proactively offers tools to counter programs vs.

    competition, working with each of the countries.

    Has a deep understanding of competitive insights.

  • Definition and execution of the category business plan for the commercial segment, across all disciplines.

  • Visits customers on site, lead projects remotely end to end and work with HP Channel partners and solution partners.

  • Leverages HP Singapore and partners resources for the right solution with the extended team, from GEC, service, training and our partners facilities to strive for solutions.

  • Understands customers mindset and ecosystem from production to business transformation needs.

  • Be a trusted advisor to customers and act with a full end to end hands-on mindset and practice.

  • Be a focal point for knowledge transfer, insights sharing and work in collaboration with Service & GBU, GEC, partners and GTM Organization.

    Works with Products and solution team members on related cross segment projects to facilitate penetration into countries and segments per business priorities.

    Provides feedback on market trends and needs for future developments.

  • Develops direct communications and relationships with assigned accounts to enable incremental business, removes deal barriers, maintains high satisfaction and NPS (=Net Promoter Score) while assisting them to achieve their business goals.

  • Be driven, be team player, customers first mindset and lead with expertise.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering/Master in Science or a technical field or similar relevant background; MBA preferred but not essential.

  • Hands on industrial, production, product management or development experience from relevant fields
  • Experienced with digital printing technology as preference or relevant industry experience form other vendors, packaging converting, brands, digital print ecosystem, Print service providers PSP
  • Minimum 8 years of proven professional experience in technical consulting with focus on presales and solution finding involving high-touch customer facing or technical account management roles
  • Experienced in working cross organizations of different sizes with multiple levels of stakeholders including operational, production, senior management and executive contacts.

  • Deep technical knowledge of the print business and production workflow as preference
  • Perfect written and verbal communication skills and presentation capabilities.

  • Details oriented and analytical with great presentation skills and amazing project management capabilities
  • Ability to manage numerous complex projects in parallel while delivering clear outcomes and communicate comprehensive path toward a solution
  • A strong team player, yet a self-starter with strong sense of accountability and self-driven
  • Thrives in a multi–tasking environment and can adjust priorities on the fly
  • Operational - managing PNs, inventory, OS upgrades, HW upgrades, supporting deals, etc.

  • Entrepreneurship - ability to guide, promote and inspire GTM org, customers and prospects
  • Comfortable with up to 30% travel
