Responsibilities:
- Inspect outgoing & incoming parts according to specification of inspection.
- Maintain quality record and file quality data.
Highlight quality problems to Managers for action.
- Ensure non-conforming products are not mixed with good products prior to disposition.
- Authorise the rejection of parts if found unsatisfactory.
- Authorise release of conforming parts and send to store for subsequent delivery to customers.
- Perform factory routine test and check of switchboards completed in the workshop.
- Test & commissioning of switchboards on board vessels and attend warranty /quality complaints.
- Conduct tests on switchboards which require witnessing by surveyors or consultants.
- Assist in quality responsibilities, achieving quality objectives and maintain housekeeping.
- Observe and adhere to safety rules and ensure the use of calibrated instrument for inspection.
- Initiate to prevent the occurrence of Product Non-Conformity and recommend solutions.
- Control further processing and delivery of Non-Conforming products until corrected.
Requirements:
- ITE/Diploma/Degree in Electrical field with 2 years in QAexperience in marine/ industrial field
- Ability to travel on site, and oversea when required.
QA Engineer is required to work onboard the vessel so overseas travelling is required (such as Asia countries, UAE).
Travelling allowance (S$80 or S$100)/day will be given.
