The QAQC Engineer shall maintain QAQC SOP and Quality-related activities & inspections in the project to ensure compliance to Project and applicable Regulatory requirements and provide recommendations for improvements on Quality.
The scope shall encompass the following:

- Assist in maintaining QAQC SOP and provide recommendations for improvements on work processes.
- Manage Quality-related activities & inspections on the Project to ensure compliance to Project and applicable Regulatory requirement.
- Work with Project stakeholders to provide a consistent Quality framework for application across all project deliverables and promote the continual enhancement and consistent Quality Management System.
- Ensure progress of works is in accordance to stipulated scope of works and time schedule and timely closure of punch items to facilitate system handover to Client.
- Report outcomes and findings of all inspection work to Project Team on a regular basis to keep them updated on all quality checks and project progress.
- Investigate and present Root-Cause Report for Resolution with Project Team as and when quality issues arise in the project.
- Provide advice and exercise any/all correction actions for any faults or issues discovered at site.
- Coordinate between various stakeholders to ensure work progress is in accordance to project schedule.
- Attend Qualification Review meetings and site meetings with clients and project stakeholders.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years relevant hands-on experience in carrying out QA/QC checks for Welding and Pipefitting/Electrical works/CSA works, preferably Semiconductor/Pharmaceutical related industry.
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent qualifications, with Project execution & management knowledge.
Candidates without the relevant qualifications but with relevant work experience may also be considered.
- Must have QA/QC certifications such as TWI or CSWIP certificates as Welding Inspector.
- Must have valid BCSS / Supervise Construction Work for WSH certificate.
- Knowledge in ACMV, Ducting, Process Piping, and other M&E related systems.
- Knowledgeable in construction policies and procedures, with field experience a must.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Good English communication skills and report writing skills.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Attentive to details, responsible and responsive with positive attitude.
- Resourceful, and able to work independently with minimum supervision and a dedicated team player.
- Able to conduct site checks when needed.
- High reliability and integrity in handling confidential information.
