About the Roles
We are looking for a QA/QC Manager (Construction / Facade Projects) to join a reputable building and construction company based in Redhill.
This is a permanent position with a 5-day work week (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–6:00pm).
The role offers a competitive package, including basic salary, AWS, and variable bonus, along with the opportunity to lead quality management efforts in large-scale façade and construction projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Establish and manage the overall Project Quality Management System (QMS).
- Develop and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Project Quality Plans (PQP), and Operation & Maintenance Manuals (OMM).
- Ensure strict adherence to project quality manuals and plans throughout execution.
- Lead, guide, and oversee a team of QA/QC engineers.
- Prepare and update quality reports, recommending process improvements where necessary.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and external quality representatives.
- Participate in audits and ensure quality systems are effectively implemented.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including client complaints.
- Recommend and verify corrective and preventive actions for quality deficiencies.
- Supervise inspections, testing activities, and liaise with independent inspection agencies.
- Review and close non-conformance reports (NCR) and site instructions promptly.
- Oversee inspections, checks, and handovers of façade and steel installations with RE/RTO and relevant parties.
- Ensure non-conforming materials and equipment are identified, segregated, and managed properly.
- Support project managers and supervisors in maintaining compliance with quality standards.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Managing Director.
What We're Looking For
- A recognized degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proven track record working with contractors in building or civil projects.
- Experience in façade installation works will be highly valued.
- Strong leadership capabilities to manage and mentor a QA/QC team.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- A collaborative, adaptable team player who thrives in a dynamic project environment.
