Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing the QAQC Department and the various disciples within the Department.
Responsible for the Company’s overall quality control activities and procedures.
Provide leadership and support during client inspections, audits, and surveys, ensuring that all quality-related documentation and records are available and accurate.
Together with HR Department, identify, develop, train and supervise staff.
Planning and scheduling of all quality related activities including selecting and assigning quality control duties to the employees and evaluating the performance of these employees in their assigned roles.
Responsible for the implementation and review of existing quality system to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
Authorised to approve all routine quality control standards and inspection formats.
Resolve problems related to all aspects of QMS and quality control issues under the rules and regulations.
Ensure adherence to contractually agreed specifications and standards including accreditation/class bodies and liaise with such accreditation bodies if required.
Establishes and ensures adherence to schedules, budgets, work plans and performance requirements.
Regular interaction with senior management and clients on matters in relation to projects or departmental matters.
Ensure compliance to relevant government regulations and company’s quality, safety, health and environmental (QSHE) policies, practices and procedures at all times.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Management and relevant international certificate.
At least 10 years of experience in the same industry (QAQC Manager) or,
Strong knowledge of international quality standards, regulations, and best practices relevant to the marine industry (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, API Q1, API Q2, and QMS processes).
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of professionals.
Good communication skills, meticulous, resourceful, able to multi-task.
Familiarity with ISO and SMS systems is preferred.

Certified Welding Engineer
Attendance Certificate in Classification of Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO)
CSWIP Welding Quality Control Coordinator
CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector with Radiographic Interpretation (RI)
NACE Certified Coating Inspector – Level 2 (Marine)
Diploma in International Welding Inspection – Standard Level
Attendance Certificate in API 653 Tank Inspection
Diploma of European Welding Inspection Practitioner
