Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist with a strong focus on the ServiceNow ITSM platform.
The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our ServiceNow solutions through rigorous testing and QA practices.
This role requires a deep understanding of ITSM processes, test automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, defect-free solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
Perform manual and automated testing (functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing) to validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Utilize and maintain Automated Test Framework (ATF) to build, run, and manage automated test scripts.
Identify, document, and track defects using a defect tracking system (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure timely resolution and re-testing.
Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with Cloudwise developers, administrators, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements, define test scenarios, and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Generate and present clear, concise test reports and metrics to stakeholders, providing insights into the quality of the ITSM platform.
Participate in ITSM platform upgrades, patches, and new release testing to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of test plans, test cases, and testing procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
3 to 5 years of proven experience in a Quality Assurance role, with a strong focus on testing enterprise applications, specifically ITSM modules.
Experience with other ITSM-related modules like IT Operations Management (ITOM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM) is a plus.
Solid understanding of QA and SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow’s Automated Test Framework (ATF) is required.
