Job Overview:
Reporting to the Business Support Director, the Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining all aspects of the organization's Quality Management System (QMS).
This includes initiating and coordinating corrective and preventive actions, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and managing document control and record archiving to ensure compliance with both company standards and regulatory requirements.
The role will also work closely with the Compliance Department to plan, conduct and support quality audits.
Job Responsibilities:
Quality Management System (QMS)
- Formulate and maintain Quality Management System objectives aligned with corporate policies, goals, and profitability.
- Maintain all Quality Department records.
- Establish and oversee an independent Quality Assurance system to monitor compliance of the Part 145 organization with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) is updated and effectively communicated.
Regulatory & Airworthiness Compliance
- Coordinate with airworthiness authorities on all matters related to airworthiness and certification.
- Implement and manage a quality audit program, validating compliance with maintenance procedures for all aircraft and components.
Supplier & Contractor Quality Oversight
- Conduct supplier audits on a scheduled, random, or as-needed basis.
- Evaluate and approve suppliers of new and used components and materials to ensure product quality and suitability.
- Assess and monitor contractors working under the Quality System to ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations.
Others:
- Gather and analyse feedback from maintenance incidents and issues, integrating lessons learned into continuation training programs.
- Promote and implement HSE programs within Quality activities, ensuring team compliance and active contribution to safety, health, and environmental objectives.
- Perform any other duties as assigned to support the organization's quality and regulatory objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Recognized Degree in Quality Management, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in a Quality Assurance function within the aerospace manufacturing and/or MRO industry.
- At least 3 years of proven supervisory or managerial experience leading quality teams.
- SAR-145 certification and holder of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's License (or equivalent).
- Successfully completed the CAAS Air Legislation examination.
- Formally nominated via EASA Form 4 and listed in the organization's Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE)
- Strong knowledge of Airworthiness Aviation Requirements including CAAS, FAA, EASA, CAAC, and other relevant authorities.
- Professional certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, Lean Practitioner, ACE Practitioner, and/or AS9100 Auditor are required.
