Job Description:
- Set up and lead the implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS), including ISO 22000.
- Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits.
- Ensure consistent production of safe and high-quality food products by implementing effective quality control and process monitoring from raw materials to finished goods.
- Oversee and maintain HACCP plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality documentation for existing and new products.
- Drive regulatory and customer compliance, ensuring timely implementation of new requirements.
- Lead and conduct training programs on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards for staff.
- Manage environmental testing, hygiene checks, and verification activities to uphold facility and equipment cleanliness.
- Collaborate with Production and Technical teams to manage the Preventive Maintenance Programme, ensuring maintenance aligns with FSMS requirements.
- Investigate process deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, ensuring timely reporting and effective corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare and present quality reports and improvement initiatives to support management decision-making.
- Co-drive Research & Development (R&D) trial batch runs, ensuring quality and food safety requirements are met.
