Duties & Responsibilities
- To follow the policy of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 internal quality audit and validate quality management system
- Carry out effective and reliable inspection of incoming, work-in-progress, and finished parts/ components
- Improve and maintain in-process quality control (IPQC) and outgoing quality control (OQC)
- Carry out and to follow update and written procedures, SOP, work instructions, specifications, QSP reports
- Keep track and validate of special quality requirements of customers, geometric dimensioning
- Work with supervisor to improve customers and suppliers feedback on quality issues, complaints
- To perform customer's supplier quality control standard and meet enquires pertaining to blueprint drawing quality specification and requirements
- Learn to report corrective actions for products COC, conforming / non-conforming components, 8D report, corrective action report (CAR)
- Collate information and identify product quality problem for in-house staff
- Assist to organize the up-to-date inventory finished and semi-finished stock
- Maintain instruments and equipment are duly calibrated
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- 5.5-day work week
Requirements
Ability to read and interpret engineering (AUTOCAD) or 3D drawings will be an added advantage.
Diploma or equivalent of certificate or Higher Nitec in precision engineering
Min 3 year working experience in relevant field
Industry Proficient in 2D/3D dimensional inspection and geometric measurements
Resourceful and adaptive to work requirements change
A problem solver and passion organized team player with good communication skills
