Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess the freshness, specifications, and quality indicators of fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Inspect incoming fresh produce according to standards, providing timely feedback on inspection results and any abnormalities.
- Conduct regular inventory inspections, monitor storage conditions, and prevent substandard products from leaving the warehouse.
- Supervise sorting and assembly operations, verifying product quality and ensuring deliveries meet required standards.
- Manage quality issues and batch discrepancies, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve problems and minimize risks.
- Collaborate across the supply chain—suppliers, procurement, quality inspection, production, warehousing, and logistics—to improve overall quality management.
- Perform other quality management and supply chain tasks as assigned by leadership.
Monthly Salary up to S$7,000 (Depending on experience)
Key Requirements:
- Open to Locals only
- Minimally Diploma and above
- Knowledge of fresh food inspection standards and quality control processes; supplier audit experience; ability to analyze data, build process systems, and write SOPs; familiarity with national food safety standards and industry norms.
Certifications such as HACCP, ISO 22000, or Inspector credentials are an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years in fresh food inspection, ideally in food enterprises or third-party testing institutions; experience in raw material inspection and on-site quality control preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and team management skills; responsible and detail-oriented with a focus on strict quality control.
- Fluent in English and Chinese in order to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
