- Assist in preparing cost estimates, tender submissions, and bills of quantities (BQ) for projects.
- Evaluate and prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis from drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
- Support in sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost efficiency.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and timelines to ensure alignment with contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with the project team, consultants, and clients on contractual and cost-related matters.
- Assist in preparing monthly project reports, cost summaries, and forecast updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant working experience in construction or related industry.
- Salary: Up to $4500
- Mon to Fri (9am - 6pm)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software.
- Good knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, and contractual procedures.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
