Robotics Automation Centre of Excellence (RACE) is an independent training academy powered PBA group (https://www.pbarobotics.com/).
RACE provide training for adults and is committed to the education and promotion of robotics, automation and digital manufacturing technologies.
RACE is expanding our Industry 4.0 and robotics and automation training to young learners through our dedicated kids’ education arm of RACE, called RACE Juniors.
RACE Junior provides coding and robotics programmes for young learners ages 6 to 16 years old.
To ensure programmes are fun and engaging, we integrate STEM into the activities that are curated by us.
As our RACE Juniors embark on the coding and robotics learning journey, they get to explore the world of robotics, taking them a step towards the future.
Job Responsibilities
Facilitate coding and robotics classes for young learners ages 6 to 16 years oldFollow RACE’s framework for class facilitationFacilitate both online synchronous learning and offline face-to-face classroom learningAssist in classroom and freelance trainer scheduling as well as resource planning.Monitor and track the progress of young learners and provide support to young learnersProvide regular feedback to parents on the progress of the young learnersEnsure equipment and other hardware is not damaged and accounted for after each offline face-to-face classroom learningConduct, engage and interact young learners with RACE Junior’s lesson plansMaintain a conducive learning environment by demonstrating good classroom managementDeliver training in an enthusiastic, motivational training styleSupport and develop training curriculum and all training related resources based on learning objectivesPerform administrative duties as required or assignedTrack students’ attendance and progress, housekeeping and any other ad-hoc duties or responsibilities People Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree preferably in the area of Engineering, Computer Science or Programming.
Students in Polytechnic, University, waiting university are also welcome to applyPrior experience in teaching and/or training kids would be an advantagePassionate in training young learners (Primary and Secondary) is a plusAble to work independently and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environmentGood verbal and written communication skills, proactive with good work ethicsOpen to residents of Singapore only Technical Competencies:
