Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain automated test software for photonic device characterization and wafer-level testing using C#.
Collaborate closely with hardware, optical, and software teams to integrate testing solutions into production and R&D environments.
Configure and control various test instruments (e.g., Keysight and other brands) through communication interfaces such as GPIB, LAN, or USB.
Develop and debug instrument control programs using LabVIEW or other programming languages to support optical and electrical measurement automation.
Analyze and interpret test data, generate detailed reports, and provide technical feedback to improve device performance and testing efficiency.
Continuously improve test methodologies, equipment configurations, and software frameworks to enhance accuracy, repeatability, and throughput.
Qualifications
Min 3 years experience with a Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer/Information Systems, or related fields.
Solid understanding of silicon photonics, optoelectronic devices, and wafer-level test principles.
Proficient in C# programming with hands-on experience in test automation software development.
Familiar with LabVIEW or other test development tools for instrument control and data acquisition.
Strong knowledge of Keysight or similar test instruments and their communication protocols (SCPI, VISA, etc.).
Experience with optical and electrical measurement systems, such as power meters, tunable lasers, photodiodes, and network analyzers.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
Knowledge in Python or other scripting language will have added advantage.
Ability and willingness to travel.
