Defect Monitoring Equipment Ownership: Take charge of one or more types of defect monitoring equipment.Equipment Management: Set up equipment, monitor stability, improve capability, and interact with vendor representatives for advanced functionality and application work.Application Ownership: Set up recipes and analyze data.Tool Utilization: Use assigned toolsets for advanced recipe setup and basic troubleshootingRecipe Management: Write or modify equipment recipes to support the needs of the RDA area.Tool Recovery: Perform basic and advanced recoveries of down tools for assigned workstations.Software Upgrades: Drive software upgrades and improvements, working with internal and external vendors for implementation.Tool Monitoring: Monitor tool qualification SPC charts for deviations, initiate tool repairs, and adjust limits as necessary.Data Science skills:Ready to learn and apply basic scripting, coding, or programming.Data Analysis: Collect and analyze tool/process data to suggest ways to improve performance and efficiency.Alarm Management: Review recipe-related alarm and error messages on assigned toolsets, document reactions, and drive incident reduction.Process Development: Develop tool operation and recipe-writing processes, updating procedures when gaps or improvements are identified.Training: Provide training for area engineers and technicians on tool operation and recipe-writing.Tool Audits: Work with vendor representatives to audit new tools upon arrival.Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors for escalation results on application issues and with Equipment Owners to identify long-term solutions to tool issues.Certification: Design and/or instruct classes for certification of others, based on vendor materials, on-the-job training, or best-known methods.
Evaluate certification data to identify personal training gaps and pursue area certifications to increase skill levels.Job Requirement:
Bachelor or Masters in Material Science, Engineering or relevant field.
3+ years semiconductor manufacturing experience is neededApplication Expertise: EBEAM/Optical/Macro/X-Ray inspection tool sets.Technical Expertise: Experience with defect monitoring equipment and recipe management.Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective vendor and team interactions.Training and Mentoring: Proven experience in training and mentoring engineers and technicians.Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.Vendor Relations: Experience working with vendors for equipment setup, troubleshooting, and upgrades.Software Proficiency: Familiarity with SPC charts, tool qualification, and software upgrades.Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies quickly.Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail in monitoring and improving equipment performance.Ethical Standards: Strong adherence to business ethics and company policies.
