Job Description
Summary of Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:
Assist guests with check in and checkout, and other cashiering dutiesCapable of defining, coordinating and managing a service delivery system utilizing resources, tools, data and service standardsProvide a warm welcome to guests on arrival and register them as well as issuing room keys by using the appropriate standardsEfficient in assisting guests throughout their stay with any requirements, handling guest feedback, provide direction and give suggestionsHandle guests’ mails, messages, and answering phone callsMaximizing room revenue by up-selling to a higher rate category and selling the highest possible rates for walk-in guestsMeet, greet and provide rooming for VIP guestsPerform any related duties and special projects as requested by the Front Office Manager/Assistant Front Office Manager/Reception and Duty ManagerQualifications
GCE 'A' Level or equivalent; University Degree preferredMinimum 4 years hotel front office experience, including 1 year in a supervisory roleFluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)Proficient in computer applications, including Windows, internet, and word processingTechnical knowledge in Front Office operationsStrong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skillsDetail-oriented, organised, and flexible with working extended hoursAbility to work independently and under pressure in a diverse team environment
