Recruiter - Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our dynamic HR team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruiting for engineering roles, specifically in the electrical and mechanical engineering fields.
You will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and screening candidates to closing top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Screening:Utilize various sourcing channels (e.g., job boards, social media, referrals, and databases) to identify and attract qualified candidates.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Candidate Pipeline Management:Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates for current and future openings.
- Track and manage candidate information and progress through the recruitment process.
- Interview Coordination:Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate smooth communication between candidates and hiring teams.
- Offer Extension and Onboarding:Extend offers to selected candidates, negotiate compensation packages, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Coordinate with HR and onboarding teams to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
- Employer Branding:Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract top talent and enhance the company's reputation.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:Track key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source of hire) to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate regular reports on recruitment activities and present findings to HR leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, with a strong focus on engineering roles, particularly electrical and mechanical engineering.
- Solid understanding of technical screening and interview processes for engineering positions.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, including Boolean search and social media recruiting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in recruiting for a manufacturing or engineering company.
- Knowledge of industry-specific tools and platforms.
- Certification in recruiting or HR.
