Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, including refrigerators, and some others prism products
Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, including mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant related problems
Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, and fans
Perform regular preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
Conduct system tests to verify performance, temperature control, and refrigerant levels
Calibrate temperature controls, thermostats, and pressure switches as needed
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Adhere to relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards for handling refrigerants and electrical systems
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Stay updated with advancements in refrigeration technology, industry trends, and best practices
Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects and assignments
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior/or manager
Requirements
Min O-Level or equivalent.
Relevant certifications or vocational training is a plus
Min 2 years’ experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role
Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components
Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Possess Class 3 License would be an added advantage
