Our client, a leading multinational in the food & beverage FMCG sector, is seeking a Regional Process Engineer to drive operational excellence and innovation across co-manufacturing partners in the APAC region.
This is a hands-on role for a proactive engineer who enjoys problem-solving, optimizing processes, and delivering measurable impact across multiple production sites.
The position is based in Singapore.
As a Process Engineer, you will act as the technical and operational bridge between co-manufacturing partners and internal teams.
You will implement process improvements, support day-to-day operations, and play a key role in new product introductions and commercialization projects.
Your work will ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across the APAC production network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional projects related to new plant installations, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate project timelines and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely execution.
- Partner with co-manufacturing sites to drive innovation and implement best practices in processing operations.
- Provide hands-on technical support to optimize quality, productivity, and cost performance.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and identify corrective and preventive actions.
- Support new product and packaging launches, ensuring seamless commercialization across sites.
- Conduct manufacturing audits to assess processes, identify improvement areas, and drive follow-up actions.
- Lead and execute pilot trials for new processes and formulations with manufacturing partners.
- Collaborate with quality and R&D teams to enhance manufacturing capabilities and ensure product consistency.
- Support the evaluation and onboarding of new manufacturing partners and raw material suppliers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering).
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in the food or beverage manufacturing industry, preferably with liquid processing exposure.
- Strong technical understanding of low-acid and aseptic beverage production.
- Proficient in processing equipment operation, P&ID design, and process sequencing.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and ISO systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and cultures.
- Willingness to travel across the region
