We are seeking a passionate and experienced Regional Technical Manager to lead technical operations and after-sales support across the region.
This role is critical in ensuring service excellence, technical expertise, and outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise
· Provide comprehensive knowledge of machinery and equipment to support both pre-sales and after-sales functions.
· Offer technical guidance to the team, assisting with complex repairs and diagnostics.
· Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to continuously enhance product expertise.
Team Management
· Lead, mentor, and supervise the technical team, fostering skill development and performance improvement.
· Allocate resources effectively, manage work schedules, and assess workloads to meet service requirements.
· Ensure employees are trained and engaged on core equipment while promoting a collaborative, customer-focused culture.
Process Optimization
· Redefine and streamline servicing processes to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance customer response times.
· Implement preventive maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures.
· Forecast labor and spare parts needs to ensure optimal team function.
· Collaborate across departments to improve communication and coordination.
After-Sales Support
· Deliver effective after-sales support, including troubleshooting, repairs, and technical assistance.
· Oversee spare parts inventory, manage suppliers, and maintain adequate stock levels.
· Establish feedback mechanisms to capture customer concerns and drive service improvements.
Quality Assurance
· Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency in servicing and repairs.
· Conduct audits and performance evaluations, addressing deviations promptly.
· Provide technical insights to support product enhancements and innovations.
Key Requirements
· Bachelor's degree (preferred but not mandatory).
· Proven experience in leading technical teams.
· Minimum 7 years in technical support/management, with strong background in equipment repair and servicing.
· Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of machinery.
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Familiarity with service frameworks, inventory management, and spare parts procurement systems.
