General Description:
This position is responsible for effective handling of tenders from customers and aligning
opportunities with the company's strategic objectives
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with global and / or regional account management team to lead or support the
preparation and submission of tenders for global and strategic customers.
• Analyse tender specifications and liaise with countries mainly in the APAC region for accurate
and timely responses
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including local offices and central procurement teams
to ensure high quality and competitive offers
• Develop a project plan and for adequate pricing analysis, internal review and evaluation inline with the global tender management process
• Maintain record of tenders in internal reports and tender document management system
• Leading/involve in meeting with cross region stakeholder to give advice or provide analysis
from Tender Management perspective to achieve corporate goal.
• Trouble shoot any tender related issues and make concerted corrective actions plan to ensure
tender management betterment.
• Other assignments and participation in related projects, as required
Skills Required:
- Advanced MS-Excel is mandatory
- Fast-thinker, Problem solver and strong aptitude for numbers
- Good interpersonal skills and understanding of cultural diversity
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
In job description
• Diploma in SCM/Logistics/Business Administration or other related fields preferred
• 2-3 years' experience in the freight forwarding/logistics industry
Working hours:
Mon to Fri 8.30am to 6pm
