Job Scope
Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to prolong the lifespan of our shipping containers
Coordinate and supervise the repair and refurbishment of damaged containers
Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials
Monitor inventory levels and manage the ordering of replacement components
Oversee a team of technicians and ensure all maintenance work is completed to the highest standard
Analyse repair data and identify areas for process improvement
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or repair management role, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry
Strong technical knowledge of container construction and repair methods
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to diagnose and address complex issues
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians
Proficient in inventory management and procurement processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
