The Academy for Healthy Longevity at the National University of Singapore is seeking a highly motivated and organized Research Assistant or Associate to support the translational research activities focused on healthy aging.

Job Purpose
The Academy for Healthy Longevity at the National University of Singapore is seeking a highly motivated and organized Research Assistant or Associate to support the translational research activities focused on healthy aging.

The successful candidate will work both in the laboratory and within the research offices, assisting in the coordination of IRB submissions and day-to-day research operations.


Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct and assist in laboratory-based experiments in the morning (e.g., processing biological samples, biomarker assays, data collection).


Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment, safety protocols, and inventory management.


Support IRB application drafting and submission for new and ongoing studies.


Coordinate study documentation, ethics compliance, and data governance under PI guidance.


Participate in research meetings and contribute to project planning and reporting.


Collaborate with clinical and academic teams to ensure seamless integration between lab work and research office activities.


Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, or related fields.


Prior experience in a laboratory setting and familiarity with clinical or translational research is preferred.


Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.


Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently as well as collaboratively.


Knowledge of IRB submission processes is a plus.
