Join our dynamic FAB Operations team at A*STAR, where you will work on advanced semiconductor process technologies and contribute to impactful research and innovation.
Responsibilities
Operate multiple types of semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment.
Use computer-based programs and applications to perform daily work and duties.
Operate equipment according to required process specifications (e.g., procedures, change notifications, etc.).
Actively participate in assigned on-the-job training and complete required trainings as requested.
Provide operation coverage and backup equipment support when necessary.
Monitor tools output performance and communicate promptly with Engineers-in-Charge to support equipment error recovery.
Demonstrate teamwork in executing process sequences and performing data collection when required.
Strictly follow safety protocols and cleanroom rules.
Maintain a 6S work environment and report hazards, suspicious, or abnormal activities promptly.
Identify and suggest improvements in wafer processing cycle time, equipment utilization, safety, compliance, consumable requirement and cost savings.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microelectronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
3 years of experience in semiconductor fabrication processes (e.g., Photolithography, Etch, Thin Films, Diffusion, CMP, Metrology) preferred.
Hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment operation in a cleanroom environment will be an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
Team player with good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced R&D environment with diverse challenges.
