Applications are invited for a Research Fellow position in Dr. Prateek Bansal's research group at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Project Involves:
Generating synthetic populations with inter- and intra-household structures and activity schedules in activity-based models using Large Language Models (LLMs).
Utilizing LLMs and statistical models for generating synthetic populations.
Applying LLMs and statistical models for creating activity schedules.
Publishing research papers.
The successful candidate is expected to pursue independent and collaborative research, participate in writing grant proposals, and supervise postgraduate research students.
Job Requirements:
PhD in Travel Behaviour, Management, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, or related fields.
Understanding of discrete choice experiments and model estimation.
Strong background in optimization methods.
Proficiency in programming econometric models in R, Python, or MATLAB.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
PhD candidates without experience are encouraged to apply.
Open to fixed-term contracts.
