RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for School of Social Sciences (SOSS).
- Conducting a systematic meta-analysis of digital career profiling tools and career development.
- Designing, implementing, and analyzing focus groups with thematic analysis (e.g. NVivo).
- Developing and managing a large-scale longitudinal survey covering instrument design, sampling, and recruitment.
- Involves performing advanced statistical analyses (SEM, longitudinal path analysis, LPA/LTA, DiD) to generate robust insights into digital profiling and workforce outcomes.
- Prepare research reports, policy briefs, and academic publications, translating findings into actionable recommendations for SkillsFuture Singapore.
- Supervising and mentoring research assistants and graduate students, ensuring rigorous data management and research integrity.
- Supporting project administration such as ethics applications, progress reporting, and coordination with partners.
- Any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD in Psychology, Business and related fields.
- Quantitative research expertise (e.g. SEM, longitudinal path analysis, latent profile analysis, difference-in-differences estimation).
- Qualitative research skills (e.g. experience with focus groups/ interviews and NVivo or similar qualitative data analysis software).
- Meta-analysis competence.
- Survey design & management.
- Domain knowledge (career development theories, digital profiling tools).
- Project management and collaboration.
