We are seeking a talented postdoctoral fellow to join the Genome Re-InnovaTion-Lab (G.R.I.T.-lab), part of the Synthetic Biology Translational Research Programme (TRP) at the National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
The Synthetic Biology TRP focuses on developing novel genome editing tools by engineering CRISPR systems, enhancing their function through fusion with other enzymes, and applying high-throughput screening strategies to isolate improved variants.
The Research Fellow (RF) will play a key role in implementing directed evolution experiments using phage-based platforms to evolve genome editing proteins with enhanced properties.
Appointments will initially be made on a 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension.
PhD holders with no prior experience in phage-based evolution systems are welcome to apply and will receive necessary training.
