Artificial Intelligence (AI) related fields, including machine learning, computer vision, adaptive data modelling, and computational imaging.
The objective is to develop state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for solving ill-posed inverse problems, which can benefit a wide range of real-world applications.
This Research Fellow will work with our team to conduct research in generative models for 4D objects or scenes, with a focus on advancing state-of-the-art methods.
Key Responsibilities:
The roles of this position include:
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in generative models for 4D objects or scene, with a focus on advancing state-of-the-art methods.
- Design, implement, and evaluate novel algorithms for 4D object or scene generation.
- Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students, providing technical guidance and supporting their academic development.
- Assist in the preparation of competitive research proposals and grant applications, including literature review, preliminary experiments, and drafting of technical sections.
- Support the development, maintenance, and supervision of 4D datasets and experimental pipelines.
- Prepare technical reports, academic manuscripts, and high-quality publications in leading conferences and journals.
- Collaborate closely with faculty members, research fellows, and external partners on interdisciplinary projects.
Job Requirements:
- A PhD's degree in EEE, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines from a reputable university.
- At least two publications in a top-tier CCF-A conference or journal (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI, NeurIPS, ICML).
Additional publications are an advantage.
- Strong research background in 3D/4D reconstruction and/or generative models; prior experience in 3D/4D generative models (e.g., Trellis), or large-scale 3D/4D datasets is a significant plus.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and to translate research ideas into working prototypes.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and strong programming skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently while being an effective team player in collaborative research projects.
- Experience with proposal writing, project reporting, or supervision of junior researchers is desirable.
