ANGEL is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to pioneer the next generation of intelligent agents for data center operations.
We conduct cutting-edge research at the intersection of Large Language Models (LLMs), digital twins, and real-time systems to automate complex decisions and redefine operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead Research: Lead and conduct innovative research on novel agent architectures, including tool-use methodologies, advanced planning algorithms, and multi-agent collaboration for simulation-based optimization.
- Innovate & Conceptualize: Design and conceptualize new frameworks for autonomous agentic systems and LLM-powered copilots tailored for critical data center applications.
- Lead & Mentor: Stay at the forefront of AI research in LLMs, reinforcement learning, and agentic systems.
Guide junior researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of academic excellence.
- Publish & Disseminate: Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
Present work at academic and industry events to share knowledge and establish thought leadership.
- Collaborate: Work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers and domain experts to translate research concepts into impactful solutions and guide their implementation.
Requirements:
- PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or related disciplines;
- A strong research background and publication record in relevant areas such as LLMs, agentic AI, reinforcement learning, or multi-agent systems.
- Deep theoretical and practical understanding of state-of-the-art AI models and frameworks (e.g., Transformers, LangChain, PyTorch).
- Demonstrated ability to formulate research problems, design experiments, and analyze results rigorously.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with relevant ML/LLM libraries.
- For Senior Research Fellow: Several years of post-doctoral experience, a proven track record of leading research projects, and a distinguished publication history.
