Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

Holiday Tours & Travel Group is a regional travel company specializing in representation services, including acting as a General Sales Agent (GSA) for airlines, global tour companies, and other travel-related entities.

We are currently seeking Reservation & Ticketing / Sales Support Officers with experience in the travel andaviation industries to join our team in Singapore.

These roles are responsible for delivering high quality reservation, ticketing, and tour support services to airline and tourism partner customers.

The ideal candidates will ensure efficient booking processes, excellent customer service, and adherence to the policies and procedures of our airline and tourism partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ( Reservation & Ticketing) :

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding flight bookings, fares, schedules, and travel policies.

  • Make reservations and handle ticketing processes, including issuing, reissuing, revalidating, and refunding airline tickets using GDS platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).

  • Manage group bookings by coordinating with the Head Office Group Desk and preparing group contracts and documentation.

  • Stay updated on airline fare rules and ticketing conditions,
  • Coordinate with travel agents to ensure seamless travel arrangements for passengers.

  • Handle agency-related communications, including managing agency emails, processing refunds, and overseeing fare filing and other support tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ( Sales Support Officers) :

  • Assist in tour inquiries and reservations and travel materials.

  • Coordinate with HQ on agencies' inquires and requests.

  • Handle customer requests, itinerary changes, and special arrangements in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, client communications, and generate reports.

CORE CAPABILITIES:


Educational Qualifications:

  • Diploma or relevant qualification in Travel and Tourism Hospitality.

  • PC literate with knowledge of Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Power BI.

Experience:

(Reservation & Ticketing):

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in reservations/ticketing, preferably in the travel or airline industry.

  • Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo) is required.

(Sales Support Officers):

  • 1–2 years' experience in a travel agency or tour operations role.

  • Familiarity with travel booking systems is a plus.

  • Fresh graduates are welcome.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Able to work independently and in a team.

  • Good command of English; other languages (e.g., Mandarin, Malay) are an advantage.
