**What will I be doing?**
As a Reservation Coordinator, you will serve as the first line of inquiry for room reservations within the hotel.
A Reservation Coordinator is responsible for offering excellent customer service, options, and other solutions to meet Guest and customer needs.
Specifically, a Reservations Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Customer Service Excellence:
Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a courteous and professional manner.
Provide guests with detailed information about the hotel’s services, amenities, and promotions to support their decision-making process.
- Booking Management:
Accurately process bookings, cancellations, and modifications in the reservations system.
Ensure all guest preferences, special requests, and billing details are recorded correctly.
- Collaboration & Communication:
Liaise with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure guest requirements are met.
Communicate effectively with team members to address guest concerns or special needs.
- Upselling & Revenue Support:
Recommend room upgrades, packages, and additional services to maximize revenue and enhance guest satisfaction.
Identify opportunities to promote hotel offers and loyalty programs.
- Accuracy & Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and organized records of all reservations and related correspondence.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures for reservations.
- Problem Resolution:
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, escalating issues to the supervisor if necessary.
Provide prompt and effective solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
