About the Role
The Social Hub Restaurant and Café is an exciting new initiative by Metropolitan YMCA — a welcoming space where people connect over good food, meaningful conversations, and community impact.
We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to lead daily operations and ensure our restaurant and café deliver excellent service, quality food, and a positive experience for every guest.
This role combines hands-on leadership with a heart for hospitality, teamwork, and community service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant and café operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards of food quality and hygiene
- Lead, train, and motivate service staff to provide warm and attentive customer service
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Manage reservations, inventory, and cash handling procedures
- Support events and community engagement activities hosted at the Social Hub
Qualifications & Attributes
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in F&B or café operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude with a hands-on approach and commitment to excellence
- Passion for people, community service, and inclusive employment
