Retail Team Leader (Supermarket)
Job Scope
- Oversee departmental sales performance and ensure profit targets are met.
- Manage daily operations including inventory control, product planning, allocation, and merchandising according to sales trends and customer needs.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and store presentation.
- Lead, supervise, and train Retail Assistants and Cashiers to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
- Provide hands-on support on the shop floor and deliver excellent customer service.
- Work closely with the team to resolve operational issues and enhance overall store performance.
Requirements
- Diploma, GCE 'A' Level, Higher NITEC, or GCE 'O' Level with at least 2 years of relevant retail experience.
- Strong leadership, independent yet collaborative, with a service-oriented approach.
- Able to commit to a 6-day work week, including rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Working Hours
- Rotating shifts: 7:00am – 3:20pm / 3:00pm – 11:20pm
- 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays
