Overview
Risk Services - Resilience Associate - 2026 Intake at PwC Singapore.
This role is part of the Risk Services Practice focusing on cyber security and business resilience, with opportunities in operational and technology resilience, business continuity management, and related areas.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively in teams to advise clients on building resilience and sustainability by embedding measures to prevent, respond to, recover from, and learn from operational disruptions and incidents, focusing on critical services, third parties, technology, data, premises and people.
Develop and implement operational and technology resilience policies, frameworks and standards.
Deliver operational and technology resilience reviews (including Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery) to assess current state and develop a strategic improvement roadmap.
Develop and uplift end-to-end resilience/BCM programmes from risk assessment and threat/scenario analysis to business impact assessment, policy and framework development, and playbook creation.
Develop and/or implement integrated crisis management structures, protocols and plans to streamline crisis management processes.
Support training exercises to equip organizations to manage resilience risks and operate resilience/BCM frameworks.
Assist with business continuity and crisis management exercises to validate resilience capabilities.
Support or lead project workstreams, share knowledge, and provide on-the-job coaching where possible.
Requirements and Attributes
Final year Engineering, Business, Economics, or Science student from local universities.
0-2 years of experience in operational and/or technology risk & resilience, business continuity management, disaster recovery planning, technology risk management, or regulatory compliance.
Seniority aligned with experience and skillset.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with experience managing complex engagements and stakeholders; business development experience is a plus.
Understanding of resilience and business continuity best practices and protocols, including knowledge of local and international standards (e.g., MAS Revised BCM Guidelines, ISO 22301, SS540, EU DORA).
Experience in planning, designing and conducting TableTop Exercises and other resilience exercises is beneficial.
Associate-level certification in resilience/BCM/DR from a recognized institution (e.g., BCI, ABCP, ACRP) would be beneficial.
