A key subject matter expert in the Engineering and Asset Strategy Division, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support, troubleshooting, and strategic guidance for all rotating machinery within the power generation facility.
This includes Siemens V94.3A and GE 9HA.01 gas turbines, generators, compressors, pumps, fans, and other balance of plant (BOP) rotating assets.
You will ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability of equipment through proactive maintenance strategies, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in rotating equipment engineering in Power Generation or Petrochemical industry.
Familiarity with relevant API codes such as: - API 610 (Centrifugal Pumps for Petroleum, Petrochemical and Natural Gas Industries) - API 617 (Axial and Centrifugal Compressors and Expander-compressors) - API 618 (Reciprocating Compressors) - API 670 (Machinery Protection Systems)
In-depth knowledge of Siemens V94.3A and GE 9HA.01 gas turbines is an advantage.
Proficient in vibration analysis, thermography, and condition monitoring tools.
Familiarity with CMMS systems and engineering software (e.g., SAP, Maximo, ANSYS).
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behaviour.
Knowledge and application of API standards including API 610, API 617, API 618, and API 670.
API, ASME, or ISO certifications related to rotating equipment.
Certified Vibration Analyst (e.g., Mobius, BINDT).
GE and Siemens OEM training certifications is an advantage.
