SWTS Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Safety Coordinator
to join our team.
In this role, you'll help create a safe and compliant work environment by supporting safety policies, conducting inspections, delivering training, and promoting a strong safety culture across all operations.

Job Scope
- Support the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and programs in line with local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Provide safety training sessions for employees, contractors, and visitors on topics such as hazard awareness and emergency procedures.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, including reports, training records, and inspection logs.
- Collaborate with department heads and site supervisors to resolve safety concerns.
- Conduct regular safety audits and suggest improvements to meet regulatory and internal requirements.
- Stay informed about evolving safety regulations, best practices, and industry standards.
- Provide onsite safety support during projects, shutdowns, and turnarounds.
- Attend client safety meetings to ensure compliance with specific site requirements.
Required Qualifications
- WSQ Advanced Certificate (Level B) in Workplace Safety & Health.
- BizSAFE Level 2: WSQ Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan.
- Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in a Safety Coordinator role (preferably in Singapore).
- Strong knowledge of local safety legislation, hazard identification, and risk control measures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM).
- Experience in safety support for industrial shutdowns, turnarounds, or similar projects.
