About the role
We are seeking a Sales Manager specialising in petrochemical or fertiliser sales or via distribution, to join our team.
As part of our growth, we are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to join our dynamic team and be responsible for managing and optimizing our petrochemical sales distribution channels to drive business growth and market expansion.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the petrochemical industry, including manufacturers, distributors, and end users.
- Promote and sell petrochemical products (e.g., polymers, solvents, industrial chemicals) through effective distribution channels.
- Promote and sell urea and fertilizer products through effective distribution channels.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market reach and increase sales volume.
- Develop and implement effective sales distribution strategies to penetrate new markets and strengthen our existing customer relationships
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, operations, finance) to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to make informed decisions and adjust distribution plans accordingly
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and prepare regular sales reports for management review.
What we're looking for
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in petrochemical or chemical sales - distribution.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, result-driven, and able to work independently.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel as required.
