Role Overview
As a Solution Specialist: Cyber Security, you'll be at the forefront of WhizHack's regional expansion—spearheading business development, cultivating high-value client relationships, and driving end-to-end sales engagements that protect the digital futures of organizations across Southeast Asia.
This hybrid role rewards your drive to both architect solutions and secure new business, making you a linchpin in WhizHack's APAC growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Accelerate Revenue Growth: Proactively source, develop, and close new cybersecurity opportunities through consultative engagement, impactful presentations, and strategic dealmaking.
- Executive Client Consulting: Connect with C-suite and technical leaders, diagnose their security challenges, and position WhizHack's offerings as the partner of choice.
- Full-Cycle Sales Enablement: Manage the entire sales process—from pipeline generation and bid management to pitch delivery and contract closing.
Deliver dynamic demos and proposals that clearly convey WhizHack's strengths.
- Strategic Account Expansion: Build, grow, and sustain key client and channel relationships within enterprises, governments, and critical infrastructure sectors.
- Tailored Solution Architecture: Collaborate cross-functionally to design bespoke cybersecurity packages (endpoint, cloud, OT/IT, compliance) addressing unique client objectives.
- Regional Market Leadership: Represent WhizHack at high-impact events, drive go- to-market activations, and help steer our strategy for Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- Sales & Industry Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of cyber trends; consistently exceed sales targets by elevating WhizHack's profile across the market.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5–8 years of proven performance in solution sales, pre-sales engineering, or business development within cybersecurity, IT solutions, or enterprise software—especially with large enterprises and government accounts.
- In-depth knowledge in at least two domains: application, network, endpoint, OT/IIoT, cloud security, compliance, or incident response.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive-level decisions and win high-stakes deals.
- Confidence in delivering complex cybersecurity value propositions to diverse audiences.
- Record of exceeding sales KPIs via consultative, value-based selling.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field—equivalent experience considered.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Preferred Certifications:
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, GCIA, CEH, CCSP, AWS/GCP/Azure Security, or similar industry credentials.
Additional Advantageous Experience:
- Sales experience in the Singapore/APAC markets, especially with public sector.
- Familiarity with cyber security products.
