Sales Engineer (Generator | Data Centre)
Salary range: SGD 4,500 to SGD 6,500 monthly, 13th month, SGD 250 transport allowance
Basic Functions
To meet sales turnover plan, revenue and margin targets within planned and budgeted expenditure for his area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
Develops sales and market strategies for specific territories
Executes product sales with pricing within margin guidelines
Establishes, cultivates and maintains key relationships with customers, business partners and distributors
Advises key stakeholders on competitive sales and market data, current development and trends of customers and distribution channels
Works closely with Marketing, Engineering and Operations to ensure products meet customers’ specification and quality
Periodic travels to the respective territories to support distributors/dealers in developing the market
Establishes budgetary forecasts and sales volume targets for the market
Establishes clear focus and direction for distributors/dealers in each location to achieve revenue and profit objectives
Provides marketing and technical support to distributors/dealers
Analyses sales and market data to provide relevant information to senior management for decision making
Supports customer service to follow up on customers’ payment issues
Qualifications / Requirements
Degree / Diploma in Engineering with at least 4 to 6 years’ relevant sales experience in the power generation business or related business
Experience in the power generation business
