Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive Sales Engineer to join our electroplating business.
The role requires both technical knowledge of plating processes and strong sales skills to identify opportunities, support customers, and grow the business.
You will act as the link between customers and our technical/production teams, ensuring solutions are practical, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing customers in electroplating and surface finishing industries.
- Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate plating solutions (e.g., nickel, chrome, zinc, or specialty finishes).
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and technical solutions.
- Coordinate with production and QA teams to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business development plans.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
- Experience in electroplating, surface finishing, or chemical processes is an advantage.
- Strong communication and technical presentation skills.
- Customer-oriented with negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
