Sales Executive (Business Development) | Pasir Panjang
Reports to: Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect, cold-call, and secure meetings with potential suppliers across Singapore to build a robust vendor network.
- Lead negotiations from initial pitch to contract signing, championing our client's value proposition to secure partnerships.
- Identify and source products that resonate with the local Singaporean and expatriate communities, ensuring a competitive and unique offering.
- Establish strong, foundational relationships with key suppliers, acting as the trusted face of our client's brand in Singapore.
- Work closely with the launch team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for suppliers ahead of the go-live date.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or sourcing.
A proven ability to cold call, generate leads, and close deals is valued over waiting for inbound leads.
- Understanding of the Singaporean food landscape.
Any existing contacts with local suppliers, distributors, or producers is a significant advantage.
- A startup mindset—highly motivated, adaptable, and thrives in the ambiguity and pace of a market launch.
- Strong command of English for daily operations.
Proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred for communicating with HQ and sourcing regional products.
- Driven by targets and metrics (e.g., number of new suppliers onboarded, contracted SKUs).
