The title of this role is actually Business, Analysis & Solutions Manager (BAS Manager).
This reflects the true nature of the role: identify targeted corporate travel sales opportunities and develop sales strategies to grow CTM’s business.
The role emphasizes tailoring CTM’s offering to align with the client’s business travel requirements rather than a traditional hard sell.
Primary deliverables.
Research, formulate and prepare sales strategies and account acquisition plans to attain new corporate clients and expand new markets for existing clients.
Develop winning value propositions for clients as part of the qualification process.
Participate in regional strategic and operations sales planning initiatives.
Represent CTM in the marketplace on a professional basis to increase market and brand awareness.
Achieve annual sales targets.
Requirements
A minimum of 5+ years in a sales/ business partnership position in the travel industry.
Demonstrated ability to align and tailor your sales approach to match the client’s requirements.
Experience in building pipelines, segmentation, overseeing tenders, and reporting to sales.
Prompt status updates in CRM.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Acute business acumen and analytic capability.
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
Effective time management is essential.
Ability to connect with an audience during presentations and articulate CTM’s value propositions.
