Job Title: Freight Forwarding Sales Manager
Location: Tannery Lane
Department: Sales / Business Development
Employment Type: Full-Time



Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Manager to lead and grow our freight sales team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international logistics, a proven track record in B2B sales, and the ability to develop long-term relationships with clients.

This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution in acquiring and managing key accounts.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets in freight forwarding (air, sea, and land).

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in local and international markets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.

  • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify potential growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

  • Conduct client presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.

  • Train, coach, and mentor sales staff to enhance performance and customer engagement.

  • This is strictly a sales hunter role.



Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, Incoterms, and international trade.

  • Proven ability to manage key accounts and close high-value deals.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Leadership and team management experience.

  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and customer-focused.

  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Multilingual ability (especially in regional languages) is an added advantage.
