Overview
We are looking for someone who is excited by challenges and enjoys chasing and negotiating hard deals.
As a market solution lead, you will be involved in developing and executing sales packages aimed at developing new businesses and reinforcing the presence of the Chinese Media Group (CMG) products in the current and new regional markets.
You will work closely with the Editorial team, as well as the community engagement, content licensing, regional partnership and Branding and Marketing teams to promote and sell integrated media solutions across the various CMG platforms, ranging from print, digital, young audience, radio to out-of-home media, to businesses.
This includes drafting sales proposals and preparation of client presentations.
You are expected to grow and exceed personal sales targets as an individual, and be part of a bigger team to drive revenue as a whole.
You will also be required to carry out markets, competitors and clients intelligence gathering.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales packages to grow new business and strengthen CMG product presence in regional markets.
- Collaborate with Editorial, community engagement, content licensing, regional partnership, branding and marketing teams to promote and sell integrated media solutions across CMG platforms (print, digital, young audience, radio, out-of-home).
- Draft sales proposals and prepare client presentations.
- Meet personal sales targets and contribute to team revenue goals.
- Conduct market, competitor, and client intelligence gathering.
Qualifications
- A Degree in Business or relevant field; 8-10 years of sales experience in the media industry is advantageous.
- Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin as the role supports Chinese content.
- Ability to conceptualise, strategise, present and execute creative ideas.
- Strong team player and individual contributor; outgoing, resourceful and self-motivated.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
