The Role
This role will support the Distribution and Content Partnerships team with the distribution of Moonbug’s Kids content across APAC markets to ensure we achieve our ambitious goals.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the pre-sales and post sales and help the team secure the distribution of Moonbug content to facilitate strong relationships with leading TV broadcasters, operators and digital platforms while identifying new distribution opportunities in these regions.
They will lead and manage the processes tied to successful roll-out of content, working closely with technical, operations, marketing, brand leads, production, localisation and finance teams.
With strong organisational and communication skills, they will leverage industry knowledge and trends to advise on content optimization.
A keen problem solver and team player, they will drive and collaborate on numerous projects such as localisation and regular distribution updates/trackers while facilitating regular dialogue of the APAC-based team with key internal stakeholders in London and LA.
Responsibilities
Distribution - 80%
Work as part of the APAC Distribution and Content Partnerships team distributing content in key marketsSupport sales directors in defining pan regional initiatives in line with Moonbug’s objectivesManage the Distribution team’s day to day administrative needs – avails list, sales support materials, release schedules, internal documents.Optimize existing and new partnerships by promptly addressing linear and VOD distribution partners enquiries.Build strong relationships with new and existing broadcast & digital partners and other third partiesDrive project success by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including content delivery, legal, marketing and finance.Keep abreast of key industry trends and market researchLiaise with existing distribution partners and marketing team to optimise trade marketingOrganise and help plan and manage events/ content markets Represent the team in weekly internal callsOffice administration - 20%
Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks such as processing payments, managing merch inventory, and coordinating meetings.Support HR team and IT team with on-boarding and off-boarding freelancers and staff.
Requirements
Experience in content distribution.
Kids and programming experience a benefit but not essentialFluent in Mandarin (Korean is a plus)Proficiency in the Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, and Drive)Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent client relationship & interpersonal skillsStrong verbal/written communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasksMust be detail-oriented and have demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, continually changing environment
