The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) is a strategic division within the corporate group dedicated to driving and overseeing digital transformation initiatives across IMDA.
The DTO plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive strategies that align with IMDA’s goals and objectives through the innovative use of emerging technology and data.
By spearheading digital transformation initiatives, the DTO aims to revolutionize processes, elevate customer experiences, and foster a culture of innovation.
Through collaboration with various departments, the DTO ensures that digital initiatives are integrated seamlessly across the organization, positioning IMDA to be at the forefront in the digital age.
What you will be working on
Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design: Design end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, and Data Cloud.
Define scalable data models, security models, and integration patterns.
Ensure designs follow multi-tenant, metadata-driven, and API-first principles.
Lead technical design sessions, create architecture diagrams, and review solution blueprints.
Define standards for custom development (Apex, LWC, Flow) and platform configuration.
Governance & Compliance
Establish and enforce Salesforce governance frameworks (naming conventions, data quality, API usage, release management).
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory frameworks (e.g. PDPA), and security standards.
Act as gatekeeper for technical design reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural guardrails.
Oversee DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and deployment governance.
Technical Leadership
Guide developers, admins, and external vendors with best practices.
Mentor junior architects and admins on Salesforce technical capabilities.
Partner with enterprise architects to align Salesforce with broader IT strategy.
Drive resolution of complex technical issues across environments.
Integration & Security
Define and implement integration patterns (REST, SOAP, middleware such as AWS).
Design secure authentication and authorization models (SSO, OAuth, SAML, Identity Licenses).
Ensure robust data protection and encryption mechanisms.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and integration specifications.
Review and approve vendor documentation to ensure alignment with internal standards.
Maintain knowledge base and reusable assets for future projects.
Requirements
8+ years of Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architect role.
Strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Flows.
Hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows, API integrations, and security models.
Deep understanding of Salesforce data modelling, sharing rules, and governor limits.
Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or progress toward CTA.
Certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, Integration Architect, Identity & Access Architect.
Experience with Marketing Cloud, Tableau CRM, and Salesforce Data Cloud.
Background in enterprise governance, compliance, and technical documentation review.
